Oh, God, I have so much love for Narnia. I've just come back from seeing it and I'm awed. If you haven't seen the movie you must see it, it's incredible.

So now I'm on a Narnia high which coincides nicely with my James McAvoy fangirling. *dribbledribble* He plays Mr. Tumnus in the movie, who's always been a favourite of mine, anyway.

Everything about the movie was great--the acting, casting and special effects (omfgwow), the only thing I was a little annoyed at was, despite the slicing and dicing, there was no blood. And the obvious matter of stabbing without leaving a wound? Snuh? Still, I suppose the movie was supposed to be kiddie-friendly, so lack of gore is understandable.

And next week...King Kong! Yes! *cheers*

In other, more boring news, my first week of exams has just finished, which is a joy. I have another week and two days left of them, sadly, but it shouldn't be too bad. The good thing is, these exams are to prepare us for our last compulsory exams that we sit next year, so we get exam leave for these ones to give us a feel for what it'll be like in June. It's nice, only going to school at 9:30 and then coming back home at twelve. heh.

Also: less than two weeks until I go to Seattle.

I'm supposed to be doing maths homework, but I hate maths, so I'm putting it off for as long as possible. I've just read though the little diagrams in our probability chapter...it's like kiddie stuff!

School has been relatively boring, except for the usual upsets. It was Melissa's birthday today and my friend Ginga bought her a £60 tiara (that's about $80 for Americans? Something like that). I think it's the most idiotic thing, personally, since it makes her look like a transvestite. Joe started hyperventalating when I told him how much it cost. I'm not joking >>

I'm getting obsessed with making icons again, but unfortunately, my current fandom isn't too popular it seems. u_u If anyone knows a good general-anime-icon-place that I can dump my Outlaw Star icons at, that would be great.
I think I'm going to attempt some Naruto icons next. I'm due to do more.

Anyway. I got my Outlaw Star DVD Boxset yesterday. Yay. More anime to keep me going.

I'm off school today because of 'lady pains', as Trevor so delicately puts it, so I've just been yelled at to do some revsision or work...or something. -_- *mumblegrumble*

Life in general is doing good. I'm being awarded two...things later this month at some ceremony in the Civic Hall. Achievement in History and Effort in Music, I believe they are. Made me happy to find out that only one person in the year can get an Achievemnt/Effort award for each subject. So it's a little special to get it. *happeh*

I'm itching to CG and create icons, but school work needs to be done *sad*

I'm going to make an effort to update this thing more often...again.

Oh my wow, I'm updating my journal. x.o

Just a general update on my life, and to warn everyone that my page will be going Naruto-themed pretty soon. I need a whole new set of icons, so naturally it won't change until I've finished them.

Scary thing--I now like maths. No, not just like enjoy it. Currently we're doing coursework using Advanced Pythagoras and quadratic equations, and this kind of thing is really what I'm good at. Screw linear graphs and all those things, give me some good, honest sequences and I'll work wonders.

Anyway, I feel rather proud at the moment seeing as I've discovered new formulas other than the ones we need to be finding. *head swells*

Apart from that, my workload has been considerably lightened, which is nice.

In other news, I've now managed to download the first batch of 25 episodes of Naruto. I am officially obsessed. It pwns. T^T Sasuke is the most badass character ever, and he owns...but not as much as Kakashi. *fangirl*

Also, I miss Trevor. It's weird knowing he's out doing the same things I am, but we’ve got no way of telling each other about it. It's rather sad. *sighs* Just a couple of months to go. *angst*

In other news...

Today was my first day back at school (oh! The horror) It actually wasn't too bad. Seeing as we're now the last official year of high school (which is year eleven. After this year I could leave and get a job or go to college) we carry on from what we done in year 10. That is preparing for our GCSEs. You need x amount of GCSEs to get into certain colleges to study a certain course, so this year is incredibly important. So far my mocks have shown that I'm doing well, seeing as you get a GCSE if you're between the grades A-C. If I wanted to study Psychology, for example, I think I'd need an A*, two As and two Bs. So far I'm getting five As and the rest are Bs. (Should be getting an A in English, History and Science in the final exams. *crosses fingers*)

So...yeah, important year.

Also the prefects were announced. Yours truly now has to patrol M Block in our school to keep the little hellions from...er...standing there? See? Oppression. *grumbles* As least I have a shiny new badge to show my authority! *coughs*

Had a very awesome discussion with my RE teacher today regarding the seven Archangels and the battle of Heaven vs hell. I have these discussions a lot with him, it's rather awesome.

Oh, the last two days have been wonderful.

I'm almost at the end of the summer holidays, and you know what? I can't wait to go back to school. One more year in that bloody place and I'm off to college. Bliss.

Yesterday I found out that there's a pretty damn good chance I'm going to see Trevor at Christmas. That was just...the most amazing news ever.

Then today we took grandma out for lunch to a farm house which was loverly and we saw peacocks. XD

And the amazing news from this Monday...I have a Wacom tablet! Eeeee! Must draw much. :3

Also, 'tis Trevor and I's 7 Month Anniversary. (Love you, babe)

Luckily I got into deathonly, even if I've made a couple mistakes so far >_< This comes from RPying at the OtakuBoards too long.

I actually have nothing interesting to say. I want to draw something for Trevor but I fear I won't do Hinata justice. *sigh* Such is life.

I seriously need to start drawing more and developing my new style. So far I've only shown Trevor and I'm not sure I trust him with giving me an honest opinion. The "*loves your stuff*" "*adores*" "*worships*" made me believe that he was a little biased >_>

May post some new stuff if I get it scanned and...well...drawn. Eh heh.

Today is a bad day for me. T_T It's really, really hot and I have this medical condition where my nervous system reacts to temperatures in a stronger and faster way than other people's. So when it's hot, like today, I'm busy dieing from heat exhaustion while other people just throw on a T-Shirt and shorts.

So, yeah...not a good day. I feel all...over-heated and slowed down. Ugh.

I did, however, draw some Ishida fanart yesterday, which I'm going to be posting soon. Yays. I should really get to drawing Gin and Renji...

My room should be getting done during the summer, we're either going for a pink or orange theme, either of which should be quite funky.

With the recent joining of a few rating communities (which are awesome), I decided to actually update this thing for certain. I like the way it looks now, I enjoy making icons and using them...so why the hell not? I may even post some icons once I get better at making them, and if all else fails...there's always ranting and picture spams to fall back on ^_^;

I practiced violin for all of five minutes today and got frustrated. I miss Trevor, as he is working...but I'm glad he got up off his ass and is actully doing stuff. :3 That is all that has happened in my day. My God, I have a very boring life...
